WHY WE USE THIS TEST:

We use this test to uncover certain food sensitivities in our patients. Sometimes, due to the compromised integrity of a patient’s gut, certain foods are not tolerated well. Uncovering which foods are problematic and eliminating them can help calm inflammation in the gut to allow healing to take place.

LAB INFORMATION:

US Biotek does not accept insurance for their tests. It is all cash pay by the patient. If you have a PPO and want to try to get reimbursed by your insurance for a test purchased, you can request an itemized receipt by writing on the requisition form, “Please send patient itemized receipt”. You can then submit that to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
