What it is & how it can feel
IBS involves recurrent abdominal pain with changes in stool frequency or form, often with bloating.
Symptoms may favor diarrhea, constipation or alternate between the two. IBS is a recognizable clinical pattern, but it is important not to overlook a different explanation for new or changing symptoms.
What we consider
Diet, gut sensitivity, stress and other conditions can influence symptoms; we also look for signs that warrant further evaluation.
We ask about symptom duration, food patterns, bowel changes and previous evaluation. Bleeding, unintended weight loss or other concerning changes may call for additional medical assessment.
Care at Revive
Care may include a tailored nutrition plan, symptom management and coordination with gastroenterology when needed.
We can work together on realistic changes and revisit what helps rather than treating every trigger as a food you must avoid forever.
Your visit begins with your history and the results you already have. Testing is discussed when it can answer a specific question; recommendations depend on your individual situation.
