What Is Shockwave Therapy?
Shockwave Therapy (ESWT – Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy) is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy acoustic sound waves to target injured tissues, reduce inflammation, and accelerate the body’s natural healing process.

How It Works

What to Expect
Each Shockwave session typically lasts 15–20 minutes.
You may experience mild discomfort during treatment, depending on the intensity and the area being treated — but this is temporary and indicates that healing activity is being stimulated.
Most patients begin to notice improvements within 3–4 sessions, though chronic conditions may require a few additional treatments.
After each session:
You can return to normal activities immediately.
Mild soreness may occur for 24–48 hours (similar to post-exercise muscle ache).
Avoid intense exercise on the treated area for a day or two to allow optimal healing.
